Network Security Policy

This policy governs the use of TENET network infrastructure and applies to all staff, students, and third-party users accessing institutional resources. Compliance is mandatory under the TENET Acceptable Use Agreement.

All network traffic traversing TENET infrastructure is subject to monitoring in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and institutional data governance policies.

Unauthorised access attempts, port scanning, or exploitation of vulnerabilities will be logged and may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement.
